Deposition
Deposition is when the agents of erosion lay down or deposit the materials that it was carrying. These agents are,water, wind, waves, gravity, and glaciers.

Deltas are formed when rivers drop of sediment at the mouth of a river. Deposition from rivers can also lead to the creation of alluvial fans.

When waves deposit, they create sand bars or longshore drifts.

When wind deposits, it makes sand dunes.

When deposition from gravity happens, there is usually a mudslide.

Glaciers can deposit because when the glaciers go to a different place, it takes the rocks with them, so the rocks end up going to a different place. These rocks get deposited by the glacier when the glacier melts or it drops the rock.
